July 29, 2010Had to sell my boat to pay taxes this month and had a little left over. So we decided to splurge and get a new barbeque. wanted one that hooked up to the natural gas, already had the line and valve. So we went to Home Depot, of course nobody actually works there so we helped ourselves and found one that said it was LP or NG, and a reasonable price. Loaded it up and took it home. During the assembly process I kept wondering when I would get to the changing the jets part. I never did and after two hours I realized this barbque would not work on NG as advertised. It was after nine and I couldn`t call anybody to rant so I had some beer and threw sh@t around for a while.
The next morning I called and the nice manager said well come on down and I`ll give you a conversion kit.I took the afternoon off to finish this project so we could enjoy our nice new barbeque. after removing the grates and burner foots and the old jets I put the first new jet in and twisted it off. I called the nice manager and said I`m not spending one more damn minute on this can I bring it back to you in pieces? So I took it back and decided we don`t really need a new barbque after all. Thanks for listeneing.
