September 16, 2011I think it is a matter of choice, but personally these days I ride alot, and I like to hear a little bit when I get to where I am going. So I like my pipes, smooth, not quiet, but on the lower end of a medium loud muffler or pipe, one that can be heard , but does not draw alot of attention.
September 17, 2011I use Trips theory loud in most cases means your just making noise not peak HP/TQ.
September 17, 2011Tat,
I believe that is what she said too!!!!!!
September 17, 2011Sounds logical to me.
September 18, 2011Depends.......
Straight pipes on a panhead chopper, nothing else is correct.
I like my V&H short shots on my street bob, not too loud, but sounds and looks awesome.
When I get my bagger(someday), good set of (breathing) mufflers will work for me.
September 18, 2011Depends?????????????? ...arent those the pipes that Scoot uses??? or am i confused????
September 18, 2011
Well, you`re pretty much always confused with that Red Bull sh**.
By mistake, when I got my `09 Ultra, they installed the "true duals" by V&H along with Rinehart mufflers..........Way too loud and not what I asked for anyway.
I was after the "Power Duals" by V&H (which has the "X" member) which merges the exhausts between the two.........More power and less noise.
September 18, 2011Noise is for beginners....dead give-away usually...... that and the fringe jacket.................................
