July 1, 2004sorry 'bout the wreck, glad to see you can write about it. get well soon
July 4, 2004Yeah, me too. Sorry about what happened, and really glad you weren't hurt worse. Take full advantage of your experience by understanding what happened and working to avoid it in the future.
I've seen people have accidents that rode more frightened each time and others that became more confident and capable riders. The main difference was their ability to understand and recognize what happened.
Again, glad you're on the mend and looking to get back in the 'saddle'.
July 4, 2004Sorry for you man. Hope you and the scoot get back on the road again soon. Thanks for sharing your mishap. It opens my eyes again. We can never be too cautious.
July 4, 2004Hey 2Hounds,
Glad you are not hurt worse, the bike can be repaired or replaced, we cannot. Have the dealer do the workup on the bike and deal with the insurance company, usually they defer to them anyway.

July 30, 2004How is your recovery going?
I laid my Deuce down yesterday on a sharp left turn. Looking at your pic of you in the hospital is a mirror image of me right now. Disclocated my right ankle and broke it 3 spots. Probably need surgery after the swelling goes down. I am hoping for no metal hardware if they have to go in
