March 16, 2005Hey all, the little Mrs. and I are planning a ride to Kentucky in June and are looking for some good riding while we are there. Looking for good roads and good eats, will be there for a week. Niether of us have ever been there before and are looking forward to it.
March 16, 2005If you could ride there in middle of July the Little Sturgis Rally is an outstanding event to attend. All kinds of good back roads to ride in Kentucky. Get you a map when you get there. Check out the Corvette museum in Bowling Green. They also have a nice Harley dealership there. Here is the web site for Little Sturgis. It also has some info on places of interest. By the way, if you get into Tenn. you have to check out the Jack Daniel's Distillery. A must see! Enjoy your trip. Crash http://www.littlesturgisrally.net/
March 21, 2005Tennessee? kentucky is the home of bourbon whiskey. If you are going to be anywhere near Bardstown, GO. Jim Beam is there, Makers Marks is there, others too. But at Bardstown is the Talbott Tavern. Oldest stage coach stop in the eastenr half of the US. Great place. You can see where Jesse James shot up the place.
