January 2, 2006Here's a easy question I have some chrome sockethead sprocket bolts I want to replace the stock bolts with. The instructions yes I did read them say to remove the wheel is this really needed. If I can remove the stock bolts one at a time and replace with new ones and torque to specs what problem will this cause Thanks for your answers

January 2, 2006I dont think you will be able to get them out with the wheel on.
Make sure you use Loctitie when re-assembling and torque to the factory spec!! THESE DO COME LOOSE WHEN NOT TORQUED PROPERLY
January 2, 2006I changed my bolts with the wheel in place. It is easier than chasing the rim and tire around the shop trying to hold on to it. Use purple loctite for bolt retention.
