I am thinking about buying new tins for my bike, found some cheap in local ad, but for a 2008 FLSTCI, any body know is i will have any problems mounting them to a 2004 FLSTC??Forums : Body : New Tins (160 Views)

DWG......You might get some helpful answers if you supply the (Maine) definition of "tins"..........

My guess would be you mean fenders and maybe the tank too.......If not, I have no clue whatsoever as to what you''re after........

Good old aluminum tins. They even come painted red and white with a little blue. Pre-lettered also - BUDWEISER.

Red, white and blue-I thought you were talking about PBR for a minute!! LOL ,)I actually thought that ''tins'' was a universally known and accepted term for motorcycle sheet metal.

I don''t think there''ll be any fitment issues (unless the 08s have the 200mm tire. Then the rear fender won''t work.). You will have to deal with the big azz hole in the top of the tank if it is an I model. I''m not sure if a petcock will screw into the the coupler either. It should be the same threads though.
