January 7, 2009Here''s an observation I don''t recall being mentioned before.
I now have a 100% better view in my mirrors now that my arms are out of the way.
Before I could see the lanes next to me and my elbows. Now I can see the lanes next to me and behind me. That itself is worth the change.

Henry......Need to hear how you like it after an extended ride that lasts over two hours *or* more.....What is cool going from tavern to tavern isn''t necessarily what ya want for the long haul.....
January 8, 2009For those of us that actually use our mirrors, it is nice to be able to see something besides your forearms *or* shoulders! LOL
January 8, 2009Ya, I can never see behind me
January 8, 2009One thing I always liked about the baby apes I had on the lowrider , is that I could adjust them back toward me ,and kind of lay back when I rode.
They have alot of room for adjustment for arm length and for comfort.
January 8, 2009Those who never rode Apes all day ..............have no idea how comfortable they are....................................Scoot.

there ya go, I kinda like a pull back set of bars. I might like some smaller version of "apes" if they were NOT higher than shoulder level. I''d try in a day-long (swap), but not gonna go put a set on my scoot and hassle with cables for clutch/throttle/front brake changes......only to find out I don''t like it.
January 8, 2009Baby Apes and you wont have to change anything..i,ll bet you smile for a week after tryin em!!..no bull!
January 8, 2009Try''em scoot, you won''t go back.
I rode the street bob to your town and never got tired!
