May 11, 2009A while back some one posted the code for vivid black. Well I walked into my PPG dealer today. Gave him the code and he looked at me kind of strange and said the number doesn''t exsist. Anyone here got the real number. I''d like to paint this week. Thanks as always, Bob L

May 14, 2009i''d say your PPG dealer needs to look harder. Who are you using? If your up in Bergen County head over to Cliffside Pk on Anderson Ave & Cliff St. it''s B&L Body Supply, ask for John, tell him Ken from Michaelsens sent you there.
May 16, 2009Well Ken I went to B&L today and told them that you sent me. Larry’s face grew beet red and the he lunged over the counter at me. Screaming something I can’t repeat here. Only kidding! Thanks Ken. Larry took real good care of me and yes the PPG code is 9850. The boneheads at my local PPG supply are fking useless. The paint that Harley is using is PPG’s urethane system (Deltron) which I’ve shot a lot of in the past. I was always under the thought that it was an acrylic enamel. I will be going back to B&L for now on. Thanks again Ken. I’ll be spraying tomorrow. Bob L
