June 28, 2011I totally understand the feeling of accomplishment when a plan comes together and the job is well done. It would just be real hard for me not to run the piss out of it if I had all that power, it may get calm after a while but I still get a thrill when I ride a strong running scoot.

Tattoo, can you explain the difference in dyno runs between the SAE and the STD types. I seem to recall (Dr. Dyno) covering that item, but I don`t remember the preferred method and why
Also, those are great numbers and I was wondering what size throttle body and injectors you were using.
June 28, 2011WOW.. Tat that looks great !
did you do any thing to it like new cams, different exhaust ect?, or just play with the tune ?
June 28, 2011I went back to stock gearing and played with the timming.
June 28, 2011I know how the timing could help bring the numbers up, but I don`t see how the gearing change would.
June 28, 2011WOW. That is some serious balls to the wall. I don`t plan on going that crazy. I am still wanting to look at the timing. Maybe I will have Brian look at that if I can get back up there.
And did it really take him 76 passes to get to that number? Or is that a compilation of all of your tunes?
June 28, 2011TR told Me with those cams and big cubes I was hitting the rev limiter before I was making my peak numbers.I guess he was right!
June 28, 2011That TR is like you tat, he really knows his schitt, i guess that is what comes from growing up around Harleys all your life and racing them yourself, and tinkering with this and that to try and make it better.
Ya`ll are making me get the itch to put those cams i got from TR and those 103 cylinders and pistons into action.
June 29, 2011I even filmed it.
June 29, 2011nice video, the bike sounds sweet even on u tube.
TR told Me with those cams and big cubes I was hitting the rev limiter before I was making my peak numbers.I guess he was right!
Is that the reason for going back to the stock gearing, so it doesn`t wind up too fast ?
have you checked out T-mans new cams yet the "supermax 600 series" ? huh I was looking at them online last night now I dont see them on his site, although I did see what I thought was a typo , so maybe its getting fixed.
I like the looks of the one with 660 lift, about the same duration as the 625 cams with a little less overlap and a little wider LSA.
