I understand what your saying.
It is not for long range or real hunting. It is just and emergency option to have along.
So with the adapter. You could have a whole arsenal of weaponry without the investment.
I`m only talking emergency hunting for small game or the like.
Lets say all you have left is your glock 27 and 500 rounds of 40 S&W. That glock is real accurate with just a stub of a barrel. Most folks can shoot a rifle more accurately than a pistol with the long line of sight. Wouldn`t it be nice if you could have that shot gun for hunting birds and the option to shoot your 40 S&W to save shot gun shells.
Hold 100 rounds of 40 cal ammo and 100 shot gun shells. Which would you rather pack around.
I don`t think its the end all solution but for $20 or $50 it`s a intersting option. If it catches on I`m sure he will go to rifling and longer adapters.
Another point is that you could have the ability to shoot several different calibers in one weapon and only have to register the one weapon in your name?????
I like having lots of options
