No real big deal here. I had 3.8" in the rain gauge this morning. so we got 3.2 over night as I left 0.6" in the gauge from overnight Sunday.
Small limbs down and leaves. Must have lost power for a brief time during the night as our clocks were blinking.
Good friends down in Southport really got hit. They live just above a marshlands and water in that creek is barely navigable at high tide. Storm came in there during a rising (but not high) tide. This morning, they had two boats that must have broken loose from docks closer to the intracoastal and those boats were nearly in their back yard. They have 4-6" of water in their garage and the entire house was surrounded by water.
Southport remains in curfew mode throught 7 P.M. tonite.
