July 29, 2014Damn Willy! That sucks. No summer?! Check in here or my email so I know whats up.
July 29, 2014FW - I don`t know what you are inventing at work but that osmosis stuff works greatin boats now. Can`t run out of good clean water.
July 30, 2014Never got my canoe back. I think the south forty is right behind the big stage. We`ve stayed at the Chip many times but never got a reservation before, always stayed in the field between the main gate and the water tower. Wife hasn`t gotten it done yet, whining about being busy or something. I better do it myself or we`ll be in the field again with the lowlifes LOL.
July 30, 2014If you know where the canoe is lets do a midnight repo....
July 30, 2014I thought the police had ended up with that canoe the last time that I heard anything about it. I figured FW had it back by now, he never reported the end of that canoe saga, so if ya`ll are planning some midnight maneuvers then the saga is still alive.
July 30, 2014Here is a recap of how that canoe saga started.........
"VT you can give me schitt for posting about a canoe on a bike forum, but this is an interesting story. I live on the river here, last September my green Scanoe (EZ Glider)disappeared from my front yard.I figured somebody stole it. I checked the pawn shops and generally kept an eye out for it. This month on the 10th I was coming home from work when I spotted my canoe stuck on the ice at the southern tip of Boy Scout/Goat Island, EODHOG knows where that is.
This is about 400 yards downstream from my house. Hmmmm where has it been for 6 months? Anyway the next morning I went early to check on it to see if it was off the ice and floating down river. It was not there. So I drove all along the river to where the ice was dammed up and no sign of it. I called PPL the dam people and asked them to watch for it. Yesterday in the Central Montana Police Blotter there is a story about the Great Falls police and fire dept recovering a canoe from the Missouri River on the 10th. Pretty darn sure it is my canoe so I called the cop shop, got put through to the evidence clerks voice mail and left a message. Now why do you suppose that in the 9 days after recovering my canoe the cops have not bothered to track down the owner of this canoe by way of the Mt registration on the hull? I had two run ins with the cops last year over vagrants camping out on my property and we don`t have a good police/taxpayer relationship. Do you think I will ever see my canoe again
I love a story with a good ending so you need to keep this one going !!!!!

Ya`all will love the Buffalo Campgrounds. They have the best bands and acts and an area to accommodate all that show up. Hats off to the guy that first put this area together, I`ve only been there the one time, but they seemed to have the logistics down pat for entertainment, drinks, and a massive area to house the whole deal.
July 31, 2014You know I am really looking forward to that trip and it is a year away. The only thing that bothers me about going is I am still having trouble with the muscles in my shoulder cramping up. I thought I had solved that problem with the back rest, but it is back. Bev and I rode about 100 miles today just cruising out in the country and my neck and shoulder muscle started to cramp, hurt like hell.
I haven`t been to a concert in years, I went to a George Strait concert with my son Brad back about 20 some years go down at the Dean dome in Chapel Hill N.C.. I do not know what the band lineup will be for next year ,but I look for them to go all out for the 75th anniversary. Anyway I know I will enjoy all the sights and goings on inside the campground that I have heard about but never seen before.
August 1, 2014We like the Chip because of the concerts. You can party all night and not have to ride home or take "Da Bus". If work had of permitted I would have gone for a day this year just to see the Zac Brown Band. Have seen a lot of talent there that would never come to Great Falls.
August 1, 2014FreeWilly ,
I look forward to finally getting to meet you if things go as planned over the next year. All we have for sure is today, you can make long range plans but they do not always pan out. But right now I am looking forward to coming to Sturgis again, and like I said I do not know who the bands and concerts will be, but I figure being the 75th anniversary that they will go all out to make it a good show and a great time.
August 1, 2014VT - as far as your back is concerned - a little more nook-- while lying on your back, plus a good back rub with some that old wintergreen stuff, and if you keep up regular uses of this procedure till you ride west - you will be just fine. Changing off on the which woman - will probably help as different hands will massage differently.
