We live on the desert in So. California and southern Arizona, it doesn`t rain here.... at least it is not supposed to. Rode to breakfast this morning and got rained on going home. That`s what I get for ignoring the weatherman and what the sky looked like.December 22, 2016
I live in Myrtle Beach. And been all over the place. Sure glad I didn`t leave home without my rain suit many times. We have a road here, RT.31, goes north and south. Use it much during bike week. My wife and I got caught two times in one week on it - there is no place to stop out of the rain to put a suit on. Thank GOD it was 95 degF out a getting wet was so bad. We did laugh the second time. I can promise you one thing, and EOD will verify, don`t ever go to Seattle without one/

Couple of years ago we rode to Yellowstone. Weather got ugly about 1/2 way across Idaho. Stopped in Idaho Falls and bought rain suits.... just in the nick of time. Last half of the ride was `wet`. When we head out on a long ride we carry them, locally we don`t pack a lot of the riding gear.December 24, 2016
Seattle is a bit rainy. Actually it doesn`t rain that much, but often. I hope that makes sense. I keep rain/cold weather gear on my Glide year round. You never know what happens 4 or 5 hours from home. It gets cold at night sometimes. I hate being uncomfortable.January 17, 2017

If you don`t ride in rain you won`t have an excuse to really clean your bike! I`ll trade you cleaning jobs if you think yours is too much. Clean a half mile of ABS/fiberglass and then talk to me! LOL
