So, can we assume an air shock setup with a compressor so that the rear comes up a little more for actual riding.
3 weeks agoIt does look real good.
3 weeks agoThanks, McG!
Yeah Mo, on board compressor so I can still do the twisties but cruise low when I want. I dumps all the air in a second but comes back up a bit slow. If I wanted to stick a reservoir in the saddle bag I could get it to come up faster but I like having the bags usable.
3 weeks agoYou would kill an ant riding that bytch that low Dave.
Does that thing ride stiff when you have it that low?
3 weeks agoLOL Yeah, VT, it would scrape a******roach. The belt squeaks pretty bad with it low and the mufflers drag so I keep it pretty close to aired up when I ride.

Can`t see the front end, so from the side, not sure what model you have.
Kinda looks like maybe a "Glide".....with the double front headlites.
Too bad if so.......You could not take advantage of spending about $850 or more for the new..........Harley head light that fits most every other model. It has 6 LED module/lights in the upper corners of the headlight and upon a 5 degree lean into a turn, one of those LED lights up to give better view into the (otherwise) usually not lite up part of the curve.
More leaning increases the number of LEDs that progressively light up and there are 6 of them per side.
3 weeks agoI can`t see anything that needs doing. Heck - I put 56,000 miles of USA riding, all over the country on my stock 2000 FATBOY, rode in plent plenty of rain, dark, and curves, on 2 lane roads only with one plain old car headlight, and never had a problem finding the motel and restaurant. Once you finish playing school person it will be time for you to head out and enjoy the back country - all over. Add to your bank account while you can then start with the Maine Coast. The from Delaware to Key West. Follow Rt. 10 West and then plan the next one. When you and Momma go by where the kids live you can stop in. It will probably take you about 10 years to see everything at 200 to 250 miles average on back roads only. Heck, after I saw the Grand Canyon, stayed there and had dinner and slept, I only went 10 miles the next day to the raft trip beginning for the Canyon and another motel for lunch and a stay to watch a boxing match that night. Tried to clean the bikes but faster than we could squirt them they dried and the dirt was still attached. Eventually gave up and finally washed them when we got to New Mexico. Dave - I totally envy you and the fact that you face all those rides. I don`t know what you`re thinking but in the wind for 30 straight days at a time sure is really wonderful.
3 weeks agoI have LED bulbs in the Road Glide already, Mo. HUGE difference. Much more confident with night rides.
McG! I want to do some distance once I`m out of school. I`d like to retrace some cage trips on the bike and make some new memories. I need to get back y`all`s way and spend some time!
2 weeks agoYou folks sure are welcome. After you visit me I would seriously recommend you go visit Tattoo. Go to dinner we him and his wife and spend some time at the Maine coast eating lobster rolls. It really is pretty up there Then come back through the north and stop and see Niagra Falls. Real cool thing. Then across the top of the country through Michigan and Wisconsin and head for home through the mid-west and then the wild west. You really do have a whole bunch of riding to consider. I`ll arrange for you to meet up with VT here and any of the old members that would like to see you - like David Baird, Mos, Doubles, and whoever else we can think of.
2 weeks agoThat would be a good ride. I`ve been to NY and Connecticut but not New England.
